Our primary focus is on projects in communities, schools, medical facilities like clinics, rehabilitation centre, local agriculture and farming. We assist volunteer organizations in Jamaica specifically east Jamaica -Port Antonio and its’ environs- with the resources needed to provide the greatest impact for the organization and for the volunteers in Jamaica. Volunteers are selected from all over the world and placed on a project based on their specialty or interests on projects where they can truly make a difference.

Full Volunteer Service in Jamaica

The Program usually begin on a Monday each week, we suggest that volunteers arrive the day before their program begins. Groups and special projects are given the option to select special start dates.

Our team organizes everything for the perfect volunteer experience, this includes, placement, where to stay, meals, transportation, excursions, cultural activities and more! Volunteers are free to join other travelers for weekend excursions.

The Placement

Supervisors are assigned at most placement, also volunteers will sometimes work on more than one projects based on their duration of stay. Breakfast and Dinner are provided as part of the program, we ask that volunteers budget $3-$5usd for daily lunch; some placement however, will provide lunch as part of the program.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering in Jamaica with Tropical Trips Jamaica. The Application Process consists of three Easy Steps.

Step 1– Complete the online application form below as detailed as possible and accept our Terms and Conditions

Step 2– You will be contacted by us to discuss your interests’ goals and skills to determine if the program you selected is best suited. During this call we want to answer questions you may have.

Step 3– Once your application is submitted and approved your NON- REFUNDABLE registration fee and a deposit become due based on the Terms and Agreement. After full payment is received we will email you the trip dossier to include your accommodation, placement details, daily itinerary etc. for your trip.

Changes or amendment to your trip will be communicated through emails, phone calls or skype.
